We strive to support the growth of effective communication skills at all developmental levels, so that our clients can build healthy relationships and thrive in a variety of learning environments.
Erica Apana, M.S., CCC-SLP
- B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences, University of Washington 1999
- M.S. in Speech Pathology, University of Hawaii 2001
- Experience working with students in the Department of Education, Early Intervention Services, and in private clinic and home settings.
- Trained in DIR Floortime, PROMPT, and PECS.
- Completed training in the Maternal Child Health-Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program (MCH LEND), 2015
- Completed Lindamood-Bell workshop for Visualizing and Verbalizing in 2019.
Lauren Pettiford, M.S., CCC-SLP
- B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology, University of Hawaii 1999
- M.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology, University of Hawaii 2001
- Experience working with preschool and school-age students in the Department of Education and in a private clinic setting.
Our Services
Speech-Language Evaluations and Therapy
- We provide comprehensive speech/language evaluations to determine your child's speech and language needs. A treatment plan with suggested goals and objectives will be developed, as well as recommendations for frequency and duration of therapy visits.
- We also provide individual speech-language therapy. Parent participation is highly encouraged and homework is typically assigned to assist with carryover of skills in the home environment.
Telehealth
- We are able to provide speech therapy visits via telehealth.
- HMSA Online Care is an option for HMSA members.
Insurance or Private Pay
We work with several insurance companies, including Tricare, HMSA, HMAA, UHA, and United Healthcare. Please inquire for pricing, if interested in becoming a private pay client.
